CGC is proud to announce that on January 26, 2011, we were awarded a contract to make improvements to the Castaway Point Park. Improvements include paving the dirt portion of Bay Boulevard and the park driveway, creating new parking spaces, installing a paved pathway that connects the existing piers at the park and the walkways at Castaway Cove Beach and Bay Boulevard, building a 3rd pavilion, adding new lighting, installing benches and trash receptacles and adding landscaping.
On Tuesday, February 1, 2011 there was a groundbreaking ceremony at the job site. Attendance included people from Palm Bay City Council, Palm Bay City Hall Management, Bayfront Community Redevelopment Agency, City of Palm Bay Recreation Advisory Board, City of Palm Bay Parks and Recreation Department and CGC.
